The traditional Forbes rating of the cities where the largest number of billionaires officially live has been published. New York has once again become the most popular city among super-rich businessmen. Moscow ranks sixth (in 2022, the Russian capital was seventh).
According to the American Forbes, 101 billionaires live in New York (the total fortune is 616.8 billion dollars). In Moscow: 61 (8 more than last year, the total fortune is $307 billion, which is $92 billion more than in 2022).
By the way, in terms of total capital, the capital of Russia is in third place. After New York comes Paris with a combined wealth of billionaires living in it at $409 billion.
Between New York and Moscow in the ranking by the number of living billionaires are:
- 2nd place – Hong Kong (70),
- 3rd – Beijing (68), dropped from second place in 2022,
- 4th place – Shanghai (65), up from 5th place in 2022,
- 5th place – London (61).
Apart from these cities, the world’s richest businessmen also choose Mumbai (7th place), Shenzhen (8th place), Singapore (9th place), Delhi and San Francisco (10th joint place).
China therefore remains the country with the largest number of cities in the top 10 most popular megacities among the world’s richest businessmen.
