These requirements are described in article 24.10 of the SDA. Previously, these rules were advisory and only applied to cyclists and moped drivers, but now they are mandatory and also apply to drivers of personal mobility devices such as electric scooters, electric skateboards, gyro scooters, segways, unicycles.
