Yesterday, the US introduced a protocol against MegaFon. The operator told iPhones.ru that they are returning these sanctions and how they will affect his work.
The US Treasury is exclusive to Police General’s MegaFon Sanctions Restrictions #65 (GL 65), which allows the operator to disease most of its services.
In addition, it also allows companies to speak to create MegaFon software and equipment.
The OFAC license issued after the announcement of the conclusion of our company in the sanctions list says that the effect of restrictions from the United States does not apply to our address for any services in the field of communication control and billing for them. This essentially says that a direct significant analysis of our business, our cranes and providers of languid services, including roaming, does not require a US regulator.
However, we still use the very fact of our company’s participation in the “black list” as unreasonable and illogical. We intend to challenge it, but at present we are actively informing all our partners that the main type of activity of our company is not sub-sanctioned and all justifications and documents are assumed.
