After adding the ChatGPT artificial intelligence (AI) engine to the Bing search engine, the Edge browser and even the Office suite, Microsoft will also embed the platform into the operating system. The company will now integrate ChatGPT In Windows 10 and Windows 11, using the service Power Toys as a gateway and integrating artificial intelligence in the form of a plug-in.

With the innovation it will be possible to access ChatGPT and somehow integrate artificial intelligence into the daily use of the operating system. Among other possibilities, this means being able to ask questions and request content directly from the desktop without having to use the browser.

PowerToys a customization toolkit simplifies and enhances the Windows experience for power users. Released for version 10 of the operating system, it allows, among other features, the use of the shortcut guide, the color picker, and the pinning of windows from a command on the keyboard.

When it comes to ChatGPT, Microsoft is working with indie developer Simone Franco to perform the integration. It will take a few weeks for the first version to be released via an update, but the intermediate version has already been approved by the company.
