Bloggers in Russia can receive a separate code for doing business

The State Duma is working on the introduction of a separate code in OKVED for blogging activities. TASS writes about this with reference to the deputy speaker of the lower house of parliament, Pyotr Tolstoy.

The deputy did not rule out that this requires changes to current federal legislation. The State Duma is ready for this, Tolstoy clarified.

The activities of bloggers are not regulated by law, although the audience of some of them exceeds the audience of the media. At the same time, the media are responsible before the law, but bloggers are not.

In December, the Association of Bloggers and Agencies was included in the list of self-regulatory organizations. In November it became known that an information business association would begin operating in Russia that would eliminate the term “infogypsy” from circulation.
