Home appliances will rise in price by 10% in the near future, suppliers and manufacturers have warned. Due to the weakening of the ruble, sales prices should increase, both for imported equipment and for equipment made in Russia.
Distributors and retailers told Kommersant about the impending rise in prices for household appliances. Due to the weakening of the ruble against the dollar and the euro, the sale prices of products are growing by an average of 8-10%.
Specifically, the Chinese manufacturer Hisense warned about the rise in prices of climate equipment. The sale prices of its products will rise from May 1. On average, prices for Midea products have already increased by 5%.
In the last two months, household appliances have already risen in price by an average of 10%. According to market participants, currency fluctuations are the only factor affecting final prices for the buyer.
In April, exchange rates rose sharply: the dollar rose to 85 rubles, the euro exceeded 91 rubles. According to current data at the time of publication, the dollar exchange rate is 81.6 rubles, the euro – 90 rubles.
