Ukraine’s National Anti-Corruption Agency (NAPC) states that Xiaomi, in addition to not leaving, is the leader in smartphone sales in Russia, increasing its market share in 2022. The Ministry believes that the company pays taxes to the Russian Federation, which goes to the maintenance of the army. Therefore, NAPC requires Xiaomi to bear the legal consequences of its actions.
Note that since the spring of 2022 the company has not conducted marketing activities in Russia. Previously, French companies Auchan, Leroy Merlin, Bonduelle, American Procter & Gamble, etc. Included in NAPC lists.
