Rheinmetall confirmed the hacker attack and cited a specific “IT incident” that occurred in a civilian division that manufactures products for industrial customers and the automotive sector.
It was noted that the target of the attack could be subsidiaries of concern around the world, including Kolbenschmidt in Neckarsulm, Germany.
