NJ Tech YouTube channel experts tested the RTX 3070 Ti and RX 6800 graphics cards in 20 modern games, and also, oddly enough, the RTX 3070 Ti performed worse. You can see the features of both graphics cards in the image below.
In Hogwarts Legacy in DX12, with Ultra preset, TAA High average frame rate at 1080p 96 fps (with RX 6800) and 86 fps (with RTX 3070 Ti), at 1440p – 72 fps and 60 k/s, DLSS / At 1440p with FSR2 Quality – 96fps and 86fps respectively.
Released with Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0, DX12, Balanced preset, SMAA T2X, AA Ultra. On average, the game managed to get 221 fps (RX 6800) and 165 fps (RTX 3070 Ti) at 1080p, 172 fps and 121 fps at 1440p, and 1440p with DLSS Quality/FSR Ultra Quality – 208 fps and 152 fps respectively.
Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla came with DX12, Very High preset, 100% Scale. Average FPS at 1080p was 159 fps (with RX 6800) and 130 fps (with RTX 3070 Ti), at 1440p – 120 fps and 104 fps, at 1440p FSR Ultra Quality – 154 fps and 125 fps.
Forza Horizon 5 launched with Ultra DX12 preset, TAA/FXAA off, MSAA x2. At 1080p, the RX 6800 averaged 164fps, while the RTX 3070 Ti averaged 126fps. At 1440p the numbers were as follows: 142 fps and 107 fps respectively.

Overall, in 20 games at 1080p, the difference between the RX 6800 and RTX 3070 Ti was 17% in favor of the former and 18% at 1440p.
