The Information Technology Development Council, which includes Apple, Microsoft, Amazon and other technology companies, has opposed the US ban on TikTok.
The organization is lobbying to change the wording of the new legislation so that TikTok can avoid blocking in the US.
Tech companies fear they will be trapped by a scrutiny that authorizes the US Secretary of Commerce to ban any technology and applications from China and Russia.
