The company’s goal will be to create “the most sincere AI that tries to understand the nature of the universe” and “which we hope will do more good than harm”.
Musk admitted that he lagged significantly behind his competitors as he began work on the project later. He recently applied to X.AI Corp and on Twitter it is said to have bought thousands of GPUs and hired DeepMind researchers for an unknown AI project.
The businessman also noted that the social network is working on an option to encrypt users’ direct messages. This feature is expected to be available in April.
