Almost a third of Russians spend between 30,000 and 50,000 rubles on vacations and trips. Most of the budget goes to buying tickets and paying for accommodation.
On trips, almost all vacationers eat at cafes and restaurants, another 87.6% visit museums and buy tours while traveling, 78.3% always buy souvenirs on trips, and 62% of respondents consider purchases to be integral part of the vacation, RBC reported with reference to for the Onetwotrip study.
At the same time, more than 71% of citizens do not stick to the limits, a quarter stay within the budget.
- Only 4% of Russians are going to spend their summer holidays abroad this year. Most of them will rest while traveling in Russia, the most popular destinations are Crimea, Altai, Baikal and St. Petersburg.
