Yandex Go has launched the Intercity fare for trips from Moscow to 22 cities in the Moscow region and its immediate surroundings and vice versa, the company said. The tariff itself appeared in November and was released for some regions of Russia.

“Yandex Go” launched a tariff for trips from Moscow to 22 cities of the Moscow region

The opportunity to go by taxi appeared for trips to Zvenigorod, Chekhov, Elektrostal, Serpukhov, Orekhovo-Zuevo, Stupino and other popular destinations in the Moscow region.

The trip includes a free 10-minute ride wait time for one or more stops along the way. You can call the car in advance for a specific time, or you can order it for the next.

As noted in the service, a trip along Intercity will be cheaper than in the case of ordering a taxi along the same route in Econom, but it was difficult to name the minimum cost of the trip in Yandex.

For drivers, once the trip is complete, the algorithm will start looking for a return order. If no such order is found, the service makes up the difference between the rates.

Drivers with a high rating are assigned to the order, who agreed to make long trips between neighboring settlements. The driver will immediately see that the destination is another city and will be able to decide whether or not to accept the order.

  • The Yandex Go service launched the Intercity service in November 2022. At first, it was available for travel in several round-trip directions: Rostov-on-Don-Shakhty, Ufa-Sterlitamak, Anapa-Novorossiysk, Ussuriysk-Vladivostok.
