What to buy in 2023 if you need a reliable and compact smartphone? iPhone 14 Pro on iOS or Samsung Galaxy S23 on Android?
In terms of configuration, both devices are identical. You only get one cable with the smartphone.
In the hand, the Samsung still looks more compact, despite the same length and width as the iPhone. Only the S23 has a fingerprint scanner.
In terms of sound, both phones are approximately equal and slightly better than the iPhone in terms of vibration. Both devices have excellent displays with similar specs. But in terms of PWM, Samsung definitely loses.
The hardware is strong on both smartphones: A16 Bionic and Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Both devices run very fast.
In Genshin Impact, the Samsung smartphone heats up more than the iPhone 14 Pro and lowers the FPS more (from 60 fps to 40-45 fps in half an hour).

In terms of autonomy, S23 takes a day at most. The iPhone 14 Pro still lives longer, if not by much.
Devices charge at approximately the same speed. iPhone – up to 100% in 80 minutes, Samsung – in 70 minutes.
Both cameras have three modules. They have a triple zoom telephoto lens and the width is no autofocus. Outdoors, the details are pretty much the same, but the S23 makes the colors a little more saturated. In general, colors on the iPhone are paler but more natural.

At night, the Galaxy S23 can shoot in auto mode or shoot in night mode. And it does it better than the iPhone. Ultra-wide photos on the iPhone 14 Pro are worse in harsh conditions, sometimes noticeably worse. In both cases, the TVs shoot roughly the same, but the iPhone will do a little better. As for the front camera, the Samsung S23 is already a winner. However, the portrait from the main camera looks better on the iPhone in terms of colors and sharpness.
When it comes to video, the iPhone is up there with Samsung.
Overall, the Samsung Galaxy S23 performed very well. It loses to the iPhone 14 Pro in terms of vibration and video recording. And if you need a compact flagship for Android, then the S23 will be the best choice for today.
