In the nearly two-minute video, the Spot robot asks, “Are you up?” It responds to natural language questions such as and “What is your battery level?”. To do this, the robot uses ChatGPT technology from OpenAI and voice synthesis from Google.
In the video shot in the Levatas lab, the Spot robot asks, “How many controls do you have on your next mission?” It also answers task-specific questions such as or “Describe your last task.”
Recall that the robotic dog of the Spot model can carry equipment weighing up to 14 kg, perform data collection tasks, overcome various obstacles on the ground, as well as conduct thermal examinations, detect radiation and much more.
