Elon Musk introduces the new CEO of Twitter, Linda Iaccarino

Elon Musk has appointed a new CEO of the social network Twitter. He announced it on his account.

“Linda will primarily focus on business operations,” Elon Musk wrote. Musk himself will focus on product design and new technologies, he added.

Linda Iaccarino was the head of publicity for the American media company NBCUniversal, where she worked for more than ten years. Under her leadership, the ad-supported streaming service Peacock was launched.

On the eve of Musk he said that he had already found a successor for the post of CEO of Twitter. He will step down as CEO of Twitter and take over as CEO and CTO of the company.

Earlier, The Wall Street Journal reported, citing sources, that it would be Linda Iaccarino who would take over as CEO of Twitter.
