The American company Match Group, specializing in dating services, including Tinder, has announced its withdrawal from Russia until June 30. This is reported in the company’s annual report.
According to the document, Match brands are working to limit access to services in the Russian Federation and will complete their exit from the market on June 30.
The company owns more than 40 dating sites and services. In addition to the most famous Tinder in the Russian Federation, PlentyOfFish, OkCupid and Match.com offer similar services.
The restrictions for Russians began last month when the company disabled access to paid options. Previously, Tinder launched video user verification. After the selfie video, the user is given a check mark to confirm the authenticity of the account.
