The supplement described the company’s policy as “ridiculous”, while Musk noted a “serious scaling issue”.

It all started when Twitter launched the subscription feature for all users on its platform. In response to questions from users, Musk explained why the activation of subscriptions on the iPhone is slower than on the web version – all subscriptions need to be approved by Apple, which takes additional time.

This is because of App Store rules that all apps that offer in-app digital content subscriptions must comply with.

In response, Daniel Ek commented on Musk’s tweet and expressed his dissatisfaction with Apple’s rules. Tesla’s chairman agreed with him, noting that this was becoming a major scaling issue.
