In one of the issues on the Redskull YouTube channel, the expert compared the main parameters of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro and Vivo V27 Pro. The cost of these smartphones is approximately the same, but the Vivo is slightly more expensive. So what’s the best thing to buy?
Each smartphone comes with a transparent case, a USB-C cable, documentation, charging (for Vivo – 66 W, for Xiaomi – 67 W). At the same time, Vivo is equipped with a 4600 mA battery.h, Xiaomi – 5000 mAh.The first is fully charged in 50-52 minutes, the second – in 55-60 minutes. The autonomy of Redmi Note 12 Pro is better.
The screens of the devices differ mainly only diagonally. The Vivo is 6.78 inches, while the Xiaomi is 6.67 inches. There are also differences in peak brightness: 680 nits for the Vivo V27 Pro, around 900 nits for the Redmi Note 12 Pro.
Vivo’s front camera has a resolution of 50 MP, while Xiaomi has a resolution of 16 MP. Overall, the Vivo V27 Pro handles selfies better (see photo examples below). In addition, Vivo can record maximum 4K 30 fps video on this camera, while Redmi can only record 1080p 60 fps video. However, Vivo does not have 4K stabilization.
Fingerprint scanners are also placed differently on devices. On Vivo it’s at the bottom of the screen, on Xiaomi it’s on the power button. In addition, Redmi Note 12 Pro has a headphone jack, while Vivo does not. The same goes for sound: Xiaomi has stereo, Vivo has mono.
I chose it instead of advertising.
The main camera on both smartphones has a resolution of 50 MP with optical stabilization. While in Vivo you have the possibility to record video at maximum 4K 30 fps with electronic stabilization, in Xiaomi you do not have stabilization in this case.
As for the photos on the main camera, they differ from each other in terms of color reproduction. More bright and saturated colors in Xiaomi, more realistic colors in Vivo.
The biggest difference between Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro and Vivo V27 Pro is performance. Vivo works with MediaTek Dimensity 8200 and Xiaomi works with MediaTek Dimensity 1080. And Vivo scores twice as high on AnTuTu as its rival.
If you need a powerful smartphone that can record 4K video with stabilization, get the Vivo V27 Pro. As for the Redmi Note 12, its advantages include a larger battery, better autonomy, a brighter screen, stereo, NFC support. According to the presenter, Xiaomi is the best among these two devices.
