- Russian mobile operator Vimpelcom (Brand Beeline) sold its business to Veon holding company in Kazakhstan. The deal amounted to 54 billion rubles. The funds were credited as payment of the parent company’s loan debt to the operator.
- In September-October 2023, one fifth (20%) of catering establishments will close in Russia. All of these establishments have opened or will open this spring.
- In the first quarter of 2023, the leader changed in the list of the largest vodka producers in Russia. Tatarstan government-owned Tatspirtprom ranked first in terms of volume, while Beluga Group, which cut output by 11% year-on-year, fell to second place, Kommersant writes.
- At the end of 2022, the revenue of the Russian subsidiary of Google Google LLC amounted to 24.2 billion rubles, falling by 82% compared to the result of 2021, according to the company’s financial statements.

- Yandex, Lanit Group of Companies and Taiwanese Gigabyte have completed the construction of a plant for the production of computer equipment in Ryazan. The partners plan to launch production this year, Kommersant reported.
Media
- Record labels began to claim benefits from IT. Analysts doubt that they can even be included in the list of organizations for the accreditation of IT companies.
