EC trailers are driven by a 3500kW inverter and equipped with onboard electrical equipment such as heater, refrigerator/freezer and induction cooker.
EC trailers do not have level 2 or level 3 charging features like Boulder, but they do offer a 110V 20A outlet for level 1 charging from a trailer to an electric vehicle. A built-in battery management screen provides all the information you need about the electrical system for easy monitoring, and the trailers are designed to keep running when plugged in to provide backup power while owners are camping.
Prices for the EC-2 start at $44,000 with a 19kWh base battery, while the EC-4 starts at $50,400 with the same battery. The 29kWh battery adds another $5,500, while the 38kWh variant adds a $11,000 premium to the base model’s price.
Colorado Teardrops plans to begin shipping in July.
