The largest and most powerful Starship rocket, 120 meters high, made its maiden flight from Starbase on the Texas coast on April 20.
The purpose of the flight was to send the rocket’s upper stage on a partial circumnavigation and land in the Pacific Ocean near Hawaii 90 minutes after takeoff. However, due to several technical problems, the rocket was destroyed four minutes after launch.
However, SpaceX considers the test flight a success, noting that the Starship has successfully climbed to a maximum height of 39km. According to Musk, the results exceeded his expectations.
The entrepreneur also said that the launch pad and the next Starship should be ready to launch in 6-8 weeks.
