The Roskomnadzor division was fined 30 thousand rubles for data leakage.

Moscow’s Simonovsky district judge imposed a fine of 30,000 rubles on the Main Radio Frequency Center (GRC), a division under the authority of Roskomnadzor. This is reported by TASS with reference to the press service of the court.

GRCHTS was found guilty of violating the law in the field of personal data. The court said that the center does not guarantee the confidentiality of personal data of employees.

At the end of 2022, Belarusian hackers from the “Cyberpartisans” group reported a successful hack into the GRCHTS internal network. The hackers shared the employee database obtained as a result of the hack on the Internet, publishing the employees’ correspondence in the internal messenger, screenshots of the center manager’s work mail, and other data in the public domain.
