Google raised the CEO’s salary and caused discontent among employees

Google CEO Sundar Pichai has received a pay raise in 2022, according to CNBC. Last year, Google’s chief executive fee from parent company Alphabet was $226 million, most of which is a stock bonus Pichai receives every three years.

The salary increase of the CEO of Google sparked discontent among employees. They complained that Google was cutting costs on everything except CEO fees. Employee complaints have so far been limited to Internet “memes” comparing Peach to Apple CEO Tim Cook.
