Data were also collected through questionnaires. Predictably, sugar-containing beverages and milk were found to be most harmful to those suffering from diabetes. In 1.2% of cases, these drinks caused complications and death in diabetics.

Fruit juices took the second place with 0.98%, and sweetened drinks took the third place with 0.96%. Tea received 0.79% of the “rating”, coffee – 0.74%.
