This is a genetically modified form of pothos that removes the most toxic compounds formaldehyde, benzene, toluene and xylene from indoor air. Plant modernization involves incorporating genes into DNA that contribute to the production of enzymes that convert these compounds into harmless substances.

Genetically modified Pothos Neo P1 grows in a special soil containing biochar, which is obtained by heating the biomass in an oxygen-free environment, where beneficial bacteria thrive, and is added to the soil once a month as a plant nutrient.
