Since the law went into effect on May 3, the number of VPN searches on Google has skyrocketed, making it the highest increase ever recorded.
Users can easily bypass verification on affected sites by downloading a VPN, as the software allows them to change their IP addresses and give the impression that they are accessing the site from another location where the restrictions do not apply.
Recall that because of the law, Pornhub has already disabled its site for residents of Utah.
