At the AFCEA TechNet Cyber conference in Baltimore, Martell stressed that generative language models like ChatGPT pose a threat because they don’t understand context. This leads people to accept their erroneous “statement” as fact.
All this makes such models an ideal tool for spreading disinformation, according to the expert.
Martell urged the industry to develop tools that would enable greater accuracy of information produced by generative AI models, including language models.
He also admitted that he was “deadly” afraid of AI-based ChatGPT and similar bots.
Recall that a little while ago it became known that Google plans to release an Android widget of its own chatbot exclusively for the Pixel line.
