While details are scarce yet, Google usually introduces its new flagship Pixel devices in October. The current Pixel Watch unfortunately lags behind competitors like the Apple Watch in terms of efficiency and performance.
With the Pixel Watch 2, these shortcomings can be addressed, for example, with a newer SoC that provides better battery life and overall functionality.
Google may also include health sensors from the Fitbit series it owns.
More rumors as well as details about the device are expected closer to October, but given Google’s ambitions, we can hope for a decent device.
