Kicksharing services, including Whoosh and Yandex GO, responded by warning users of this deceptive tactic. And the Yurent service noted that such stickers are “an example of vandalism and possibly fraud.”

Service representatives stressed the importance of scanning QR codes only through their official application because third-party codes are not accepted through them. They assured users that all unauthorized information found on their scooters will be promptly removed by employees.

Users are asked to be careful and vigilant when renting electric scooters, especially to make sure they only scan QR codes through official apps provided by kickshare services.
