According to RIA Novosti, Zhuravlev proposed to label such goods with the inscription “Manufactured by the enemy of Russia.” He believes that many Western companies are still trying to sell their products in the country, despite announcing that they are withdrawing from Russia.
Zhuravlev believes that the bright writing on the label will help consumers understand that they support organizations that seek to harm Russia. He also recommends applying the label to brands that first left the country but then returned under a different name: “Companies that publicly denounce the country continue to make money from it.”
