It is assumed that the first flights will begin in 2025. The company’s website has even started pre-orders.
The balloons will be able to accommodate six passengers and two pilots departing from the French spaceport. In the future, the company wants to launch flights from all inhabited continents.
However, it is worth understanding that the service is not cheap – the cost of such a trip will be about 132 thousand dollars per person.
During the flight, tourists will be offered gourmet meals and Wi-Fi access. The design of the capsules has been developed in a minimalist style so as not to be distracted by the stunning views outside the porthole.
Total flight time will be about six hours, of which an hour and a half will be takeoff and landing, and at maximum altitude passengers will spend about three hours.
