72% of Russians do not use smart home devices: survey

The vast majority of Russians (72%) do not use smart home devices, a survey by VTsIOM showed. The study was conducted at the end of March, 1.6 thousand people over 18 years of age participated.

The share of those using home gadgets was mainly made up of people over 60, Russians with secondary education and below, and residents of rural areas, according to the survey results.

According to the survey, less than a third of Russians (28%) use smart home devices in their lives, half of them regularly. The most popular smart devices were the robot vacuum cleaner, the smart speaker and the Smart TV.

A survey conducted at the end of January last year showed that women break braces twice as often as men. The most “breakable” device brands are Samsung, Apple and Xiaomi.
