Tochka’s entrepreneurial clients will be able to send payments to India in rupees, the bank has launched operations in the Indian national currency. This was reported to RB.RU in the press service of the credit institution.
Entrepreneurs do not have to open a foreign currency account for this – money is debited from the account in rubles, and then converted into rupees.
You can send any amount to India; there is no minimum threshold for cross-border payments. The operation can be carried out from Monday to Friday until 15:30 Moscow time.
According to Tochka, the trade turnover between Russia and India increased 2.5 times over the past year compared to 2021. Russia is one of the eastern country’s top five trading partners.
In addition to rupees, Tochka works with other currencies: yuan, lira, tenge, drams, lari, dinars, dollars and euros for different countries.
