The Fall Detection feature has saved at least two Americans in the past week.
The first, Michael Broadkorb, from Minnesota, was hit by a car and the driver fled the scene. His Apple Watch was facing infection cases and found first aid. It turned out that the sacrum and ribs were found in men.
The second, 83-year-old William Fryer, was walking along a trail along a river in Ohio, but at one point his legs gave out and he fell. There was no one around to help. And at that moment, his Apple Watch detected the fall caused by emergency services and alerted his daughter.
The Cincinnati police offered to find her husband, and paramedics took him to storage. The X-rays he had had a large blood clot that caused the fall. Fryer eventually had the clot removed.
