In March 2023, the Bank of Russia canceled Yandex.Bank’s brokerage license. The reasons why the bank refused the license were the same: the provision of these services is not a priority for the organization.
Yandex.Bank was launched on the basis of the former Acropolis bank, which Yandex bought in April 2021 for 1.1 billion rubles.
