The Ministry of Digital Transformation called for the introduction of mandatory labeling of content created using neural networks. For this, it is recommended to develop a special graphic sign.
The Rector of the Russian Technological University (RTU MIREA) Stanislav Kudzha sent a letter to the head of the Ministry of Digital Development Maksut Shadayev, TASS writes. He points to the need for a program to protect critical infrastructure from cyber attacks using neural networks.
It is proposed to fix the marking and protection program within the framework of the federal project “Artificial Intelligence”. The university considers that in the order of the Ministry of Digital Development of December 21, 2020 No. 734 “On the identification of threats to the security of personal data”, it is necessary to prescribe threats of unauthorized access to personal data of persons without competent authority and its use using neural networks as a separate paragraph.
In addition, RTU MIREA proposes to include the module “Fighting the misuse of neural networks” in the CiberSalud project of the Ministry of Digital Development.
As summarized by the experts interviewed by the educational institution, the main threat to the widespread use of neural networks is the growth of cybercrime. The rector’s direction points out the security risks of personal data even when non-networks are used in the entertainment segment.
Furthermore, without the introduction of control measures, AI will soon be able to bypass various protection systems much more efficiently than a person, even in priority areas for the economy.
