Believers have an official prayer for job search, its text was approved by the synod of the Russian Orthodox Church. The prayer can be read in all churches of the Russian Orthodox Church, and believers can use it in liturgical singing.
The Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church has officially approved the job search prayer. The text of the prayer song “on the occasion of finding a job” is published on the official website of the Moscow Patriarchate.
“A man will go out to work and work until evening,” says the text of the prayer song. Also in the text there is a request to give a person an act that is good, and that a person produces fruits worthy of his work.
The text of the prayer was developed by the Synodal Liturgical Commission of the Russian Orthodox Church, headed by Metropolitan Konstantin of Petrozavodsk and Karelia.
The ROC has been debating the need to accept the job search sentence for several years.
