Unfortunately, the search giant is not destined to be the first. Literally today, Microsoft announced on its blog that Bing’s branded chatbot has been released as a widget on both mobile platforms (Android and iOS).
And while there is no exact timeline for the Bard widget to appear on Android, everyone understood that this would be an important step forward for the company, given its focus on artificial intelligence.
However, Microsoft has deliberately overtaken Google in delivering the contextual chatbot to as many platforms as possible.
It’s worth noting that this isn’t Microsoft’s first attempt to bring Bing AI to mobile devices. Last month, Redmonds included Bing Chat in its SwiftKey app for Android.
