1. Open your browser and type “Google Maps” in the search bar. Click on the first result to access the official Google Maps website. It is also possible to use the application on your smartphone;

2. Now in Google Maps find the start and end points between which you want to measure the distance. Click on the starting point and then right click. Select “Measure Distance” from the drop-down menu;

3. Then click on the end point and then right click again. Select “Add Destination” from the drop-down menu. Select waypoints, if any, to follow the desired route;

4. At this time, the total distance between the selected points Displays at the bottom of the Google Maps screen. The distance is displayed in kilometers and miles. You can also click on each part of the route to see the partial distance;

5. If you want to save the route, click “Add route” and give the route a name. The saved route will appear in the “Your Routes” list on the left side of Google Maps;
