OpenAI announced this Thursday (18), Launch of a ChatGPT app for iOS. The service is free, syncs history between different devices and even integrates Whisper, a voice recognition system.

The app is currently only available in the United States, but other countries will get the news in the coming weeks.

The service on the mobile device works just like the browser on the PC, because it responds instantly in chat format; personalized recipe advice; creative inspiration for itinerary and more, and gift ideas.

ChatGPT for iOS also offers professional help by providing summaries of meeting minutes, schedule, learning new languages, stories and much more.

A quote from OpenAI’s launch post says, “With the ChatGPT app for iOS, we’re taking another step towards our mission by turning the latest research into useful tools that empower people and make them increasingly accessible.”

The last promise was made Android users will be next. Although OpenAI did not specify a date, it promised that users of mobile phones with Google’s operating system will soon receive the ChatGPT application.
