In an interview with the bank’s press service RIA Novosti, he said that the MKB Online mobile application of the Moscow Credit Bank (MCB) will stop working on devices with the iOS operating system in the near future due to the expiration of security certificates. Credit institution officials emphasized that instructions were sent to Apple device owners to continue using the application.
The ICB stressed that the temporary suspension of the mobile application will not affect the quality of customer service and the functioning of the bank.
Last June, the Moscow Credit Bank (MCB), along with several other Russian banks, was removed from the SWIFT international payment system as part of a new package of sanctions imposed by the European Union. As a result, the MKB Online mobile application has been removed from the App Store and Google Play. Also, at the end of February, the US imposed new sanctions on many Russian banks, including the ISE.
