Built into the browser of the same name, this innovative AI assistant offers users “unprecedented privacy” compared to other chatbots.

Leo is already available to all users of the desktop version of Brave 1.60 and will soon be available in Android and iOS versions as well.

The new service can translate, answer questions, summarize web pages and produce new content, but its main advantage is complete anonymity.

Your conversations with the chatbot are not recorded or used to train AI models, and you don’t need to log in to use it.

The standard version of Leo is based on the Llama 2 model and is available for free. For those who want more, Brave offers Leo Premium for $15 per month, which uses Anthropic’s Claude Instant AI assistant, a faster and cheaper version of the Claude 2 model.
