Microsoft has released Office 2024 for Mac and PC. This standalone version works without a Microsoft 365 subscription.
The office suite includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote and Outlook. List of improvements:
▶︎ On Mac, you can now customize swipe gestures in Outlook using a trackpad or Magic Mouse.
▶︎ Improved performance in Excel
▶︎ Excel has new functions for data analysis and quick insertion of images into tables.
▶︎ OneNote has limited handwriting input.
▶︎ In PowerPoint, you can connect your phone and real-time recording devices made with a mobile camera.
▶︎ PowerPoint now has a “recording studio” for recording voiceovers
Office 2024 is compatible with macOS Ventura, macOS Sonoma, and macOS Sequoia. In the USA it costs 149 dollars or 14 thousand rubles (version without Outlook) and 249 dollars or 23 thousand rubles (with Outlook).
