In 2017, British Inventor and Entrepreneur Grant Sinclair unveiled a prototype of his Iris eTrike electric velomobile. And now, six years later, its updated, ready-to-sell serial version was born.
Looking at the photo of Iris eTrike, that is, the term “futuristic” is called. The engineering and design ideas of the creator are clearly focused on the future. The dimensions of the electric velomobile are 94 x 128 cm, weight is 50 kg. The novelty is expensive on a three-wheeled chassis made of chrome steel. The cabin is placed inside the shell made of EPP foam under a folding transparent canopy made of Iglas plexus.
The driver has a high seat, 9-speed transmission, LED lighting system, voice filtering system, a closed life cycle camera with 120-degree surveillance and a cooling system that supplies the cabin with clean air.

Pedaling the driver is assisted by a 250W, 500W or 750W motor (selectable), capable of providing if you are approaching 50km/h and trying for 50km.
For added comfort, the EV requires a 100-litre cargo bay, Shimano A530 SPD pedals and a Storm Spyre disco. The controls are shown with an LED indicator, which displays the speed, distance traveled and battery charging time.
Iris eTrike (serum and silver scent in variants) are already pre-orders at around $6,252. The post was published in December 2024. of the year.
