Simple changes in diet, exercise, and sleep patterns can help you look 11 years younger. And yet there is still meat in the diet.

A team of researchers from the University of Virginia followed six healthy women, average 58 years old, for eight weeks. The women were required to eat plenty of leafy greens, seeds, three servings of liver, exercise for 30 minutes five days a week, sleep at least seven hours a night, and do 10 minutes of breathing exercise twice a day.

The results of the study showed that all lifestyle changes reduced the participants’ biological age by an average of five years. At the same time, a woman’s biological age even decreased by 11 years.

Women were required to eat plenty of vegetables a day, including two cups of dark leafy greens, two cups of cruciferous vegetables, and three cups of colorful vegetables. He was also given a daily dose of pumpkin and sunflower seeds, half a glass of strawberries and half a teaspoon of rosemary or turmeric. Each participant was supposed to eat about 3 kg of meat per day, 85 g of liver per week, 5-10 eggs per week.

As for beverages, the women drank up to eight glasses of water a day. The study group also took probiotic and green powder supplements every 24 hours. Foods containing sugar, sugar, dairy products, grains and legumes or beans should be avoided. All this regimen had to be followed from 7 am to 7 pm.

In addition to diet, participants were asked to do 30 minutes of moderate to high-intensity exercise five days a week. It could be running or cycling.
