The Dragon spacecraft docked at the station Monday morning and brought Commander Peggy Whitson, a former NASA astronaut, into orbit. Together with him, a wealthy investor and two tourists from Saudi Arabia went to the station.

A few hours after docking, the crew opened the hatch and the station residents already on board greeted the new arrivals.

Note that this is the first time a woman has commanded a private crew. Moreover, one of the tourists, Rayyan Barnavi, became the first Saudi woman to go into space.

Recall that this is the second time Axiom Space has partnered with SpaceX to send tourists to the ISS. About a year ago, the company delivered the first fully custom crew to the ISS.
