Microsoft talked about the upcoming Windows update to version 23H2. A wizard based on AI Copilot will appear there. In addition, the operating system will begin to open files, in addition to ZIP, without third-party applications.

Microsoft said what to expect from the Windows 11 update to version 23H2

The Copilot AI-powered assistant has only previously been rolled out to Office 365 apps. The company is integrating it into Windows 11 23H2. The wizard can analyze and rephrase text into more understandable terms in any application.

Microsoft will also introduce Bing Chat plugins in the updated operating system, allowing developers to integrate their apps with Windows Copilot and engage customers with Windows services more effectively.

Also in version 23H2, the VPN icon will start to appear on the taskbar if this service is enabled. In addition to the indicator, a switch and an item with quick settings will appear.

Also, Microsoft will update File Explorer to match the style of Windows 11. Users will see new elements with a blur effect, and interfaces will have a more rounded shape.

Also in the updated version it will be possible to open any file without third-party programs. Now the operating system only supports ZIP files by standard means.

New features will be added in stages. Windows 11 23H2 is scheduled to be released in September 2023.
