British sports car manufacturer Caterham has unveiled an electric concept car based on the legendary Seven roadster. It is not for mass production.
The car is equipped with a 240 hp engine. at 9000rpm. Its top speed is approximately 209 km/h, and acceleration to the first hundred takes less than four seconds.
Battery capacity – 40 kWh. The electric sports car is designed for track driving, so the scenario of using the car at full power in this mode is for a 20-minute race, after which the Caterham needs to recharge, which will take around 15 minutes.
