Vladimir Sadkov, co-founder of EcoBox, a disinfectant box production startup (not currently involved in this project), launched the eesee NFT marketplace for quick buying and selling of digital assets. The team raised $400,000 for the new project, Sadkov himself told RB.RU about this.

According to the businessman, the funds were received from angelic venture capital investors in Dubai. Investments will go toward development, team building, market entry, and marketing.

Eesee operates on a ticketing system for NFT property. The seller sets the price of the asset, the number of entries and the cost of each of them. Potential NFT holders pay for a ticket, and when the full value of the asset is reached, Chainlink’s VRF random number generator determines who will receive the digital asset.

Thus, the seller receives the full value of the asset, and one of the participants becomes the new owner of the NFT for a small part of its value. The platform itself receives a commission from the NFT seller.

The rest of the participants, as Sadkov explained, receive a refund, which the platform accumulates by dividing the seller’s commission between them and the participants. The cashback can be spent both on eesee and withdrawn to any of their wallets in the form of cryptocurrency.

eesee’s partners include Rarible marketplace, Chainlink’s decentralized Oracle network.

Vladimir Sadkov is also known as the co-founder of the EcoBox startup. In 2020, before the start of the coronavirus pandemic, Sadkov launched a project with disinfection boxes to clean smartphones, headphones, e-cigarettes, watches and other devices. Currently, the businessman is not involved in the EcoBox project and has left this business.
